This article outlines the steps needed to ensure our team receives your claim and can seek a resolution for you.

  1. From the ADESA Clear platform, navigate to your purchases page and initiate an arbitration by clicking on a specific vehicle.
  2. When the side panel appears, a section labeled Arbitration is visible with a Start Arbitration link.
  3. Clicking the link will open the arbitration form, where you can input issues, categories, and descriptions.
  4. You can enter the issue(s) to be reviewed and submit the claim after entering the vehicle’s current odometer value.
  5. You will receive a confirmation email, and you can view the arbitration status on your purchases page.
  6. Please allow our team up to 48 business hours to review new claims.

PLEASE READ THESE IMPORTANT POLICY REMINDERS:

  • You are responsible for submitting the claim. ADESA directing you to submit a claim shall not be construed as a guarantee of assistance
  • All claims are subject to review. ADESA relies on the National Auto Auction Association (NAAA) arbitration policy and ADESA US Auction Terms and Conditions and the ADESA Arbitration Policy while investigating all claims that arise regarding how a vehicle was represented during our sale.
  • Vehicles with over 200 miles from Auction sale are not eligible for arbitration. On late title arbitrations, penalties apply for mileage starting at 500 miles.
  • Arbitration may request photos, estimates, bill of lading, and other documentation or that the vehicle be returned to ADESA or a third-party location for inspection.
  • Each step must be completed within five (5) calendar days of the Arbitrator’s request unless specified otherwise to provide you with a prompt resolution. If you are asked to return the vehicle to an auction location, this must be done within 48 hours of being asked to do so. Requests completed outside the timelines set by arbitration may result in a delayed or invalid claim.

If you need additional assistance after submitting a claim, please contact support Monday – Friday, 7 am-4 pm MST at arbitrations@adesa.com.
