Late Title

  • On average, we send the title 3-5 business days after confirmation of the sale.
  • Title Absent (Blue Light) Inventory: Title Absent timeframe is subject to state guidelines.
  • Title Present Inventory: If you do not have tracking within 3 to 5 business days after the confirmation of sale, please submit an inquiry.

Title Error

  • Please let our team know of the correction needed, and we will review it to confirm our next steps and the correction timeline.
  • Our team may request title scans or further supporting documentation.

Duplicate Title Request

  • If the most recent title is printed in Carvana’s name, ADESA/Carvana can obtain a duplicate copy at the buying dealer’s request.
  • The duplicate fee depends on the title state and ranges from $100 to $200. 
  • An Invoice will be emailed to the requestor, which can be paid online via credit card or ACH.
  • Upon receipt of payment, Carvana will request a duplicate title from the issuing state.
  • ADESA will confirm the ETA once requested.

If the requested title falls outside of the standard request, you will be notified by Carvana before receiving an invoice.

For example, California/Florida duplicate title price can range up to $200.
