Finding vehicles
There are several ways to find specific inventory on the ADESA Marketplace app, here are a few options:
- From the homepage you can select the Year, Make, Model, Proximity criteria to start searching.
- From the main navigation – tap Search, use the search options available to set criteria and narrow down the results. You can save the search for future use.
- Tap Run List – to start searching by auction location and sale date
- If you have saved searches, you can access those on the homepage, when you scroll down to the Saved Searches section and tap.
- If you are looking to join a live in-lane sale, tap Simulcast from the main navigation. You can select the location/lane to join live bidding occurring across the country. Read the ADESA Simulcast buyer guide to learn more about buying on Simulcast from mobile device and desktop.
Research vehicles
You can learn more about any vehicle by tapping on the inventory listing to access the vehicle details page (VDP). The VDP provides key information necessary to make an informed buying decision. VDP will include equipment details, additional photos and any inspection-related findings.
ADESA Market Guide (AMG) is also available on Marketplace App. AMG is a tool to help you determine the fair market price for vehicles based on sales transactions and inventory currently available on ADESA.com. Quickly access this tool from the VDP by swiping over to the Vehicle Information page, (the third dot from the left) and scrolling down. Tap View ADESA Market Guide to open the data.
Using Watch List
Once you’ve found the vehicle inventory that works for your store, add it to your Watch List. Add notes, monitor sales and place bids from virtually anywhere. The Watch List helps you stay organized.
Tap the eye icon to add or remove a vehicle from your list.
Tap Watch List in the navigation to see your list of saved vehicles.
Bid/Buy
You can bid and buy in online and live sales right from the VDP. Tap the Bid/Buy buttons and follow the prompts to place your bid or buy now. If it is sale day, the JOIN button on the VDP will bring you to the live sale occurring in the lane, using Simulcast. Or, at any time you can join live ADESA Simulcast sales across the country from the Simulcast button on the main navigation.
Manage purchases
No matter where you buy at ADESA, it’s simple to keep track of your purchases directly from the Marketplace app. Tap the Dashboard in the upper-left corner, it is an icon of three horizontal lines; no matter where you are in the app you can always access the Dashboard in the upper-left. Tap My Purchases, which is located about half way down the screen.
Recent purchases will be listed. You can filter and sort by purchase date or year of vehicle, or by make or model to help you pinpoint a specific transaction. Tap on a transaction listed to see real-time status of PSI, Title and Gate Pass.
